Bike Month Kicks Off This Friday May 1st

An event-packed Bicycle Month in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky begins this Friday, May 1st. With the help of our sponsors, we'll be working all month to increase awareness that bicycling is a great way to get around every day.

What can you do to help? If you already ride, be out and be visible. Ride somewhere you have never ridden before - to dinner, to go shopping, or to work. Ride to one of the businesses participating in Deals on Wheels (we will post the list on this site by May 1). They are offering discounts and special deals for people who ride in any time in May.

If you are just returning to bicycling or are thinking about commuting to work or to school, come to one of the many events this month to learn more. You'll meet people who will be happy to talk to you about where you can ride and the benefits of bicycling, for you and for our communities. Check out the Calendar to the right for the full list of events.
