Great to see an effort on the part of the city, but I hope to be there to propose that the small amount of cycle-track and bike boulevards be dramatically increased.

All downtown streets should be treated as bike friendly and that should be the new mentality, paint will only be wasted putting in share-rows and make drivers think that bikes are not allowed in other lanes...

I would rather see the thousands that would go into paint and labor downtown- be spent putting in designated/protected bike lanes along Central Parkway, Liberty, Spring Grove and 5th street including the 6th Street/ 5th Street interchange into downtown from Queensgate.

Come to the open house and make sure your comments are heard. It will also be a great time to share ideas with other bicyclists about what we can do.
