Several communities in the OKI region have expressed interest in the League of American Bicyclists’ Bicycle Friendly Community (BFC) program. Here is an opportunity to attend a BFC workshop presented by none other than Andy Clarke, Executive Director of the League. This workshop will be held in Dayton and is hosted by the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission. It will cover bikeability assessments, and development of an action plan to carry out before applying for BFC status. A local assessment ride will be held following the meeting so bring your bikes. NOTE: space is limited and reservations must be made by May 1.
