Bicycles and mass transit both need to be a bigger part of the transportation future in our region.
That's why Queen City Bike is partnering with Citizens for Civic Renewal, Metro, TANK, the Sierra Club and other local organizations to sponsor this Citizens Connect event. Please see below for details!

Citizens for Civic Renewal presents:
The Future of Transit in Greater Cincinnati
Thursday, November 20th
5:30 - 7:30 pm
First Unitarian Church
536 Linton St. Avondale
Green. Investment. Opportunity. All three are buzzwords - nonetheless they describe the possibilities surrounding transit in our region. A great transit system is a big piece of being able to live a green lifestyle. The talk in Washington is of government infrastructure investment to get our economy going. And for the first time in a long while local politicians are thinking the opportunity is now to talk about creating a truly regional transit system.
Join us as we hear Marilyn Shazor, CEO of Metro, give her perspective on the current state of transit in the region and her vision for the future of transit in Greater Cincinnati.
After Marilyn's remarks, you will have a chance to share your thoughts with other citizens and determine what action we should take as a group to take advantage of the stars aligning for improving the region's transit system.
Registration Fee: $10 by November 18th or $15 at the door.
