Friday, May 8: Bike Art Show Opening Reception
When: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday May 8th, at two locations.

Details: The Bike Art Show is a collaborative effort celebrating Bike Month that will be on view all month at Park + Vine in Over-the-Rhine and the Redtree Gallery in Oakley. All artwork either incorporates recycled bike parts or gets its inspiration from bicycling. The opening reception is 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 8 at both locations.
Saturday, May 9th: Free Workshop on Commuting by Bike
When: 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9th,
Where: Findlay Market Bike Depot, 124 W Elder St, Over-the-Rhine
Cost: Free
Details: Learn what you need to know to begin safely commuting to work by bicycle, and get prepared to ride on Bike to Work Day, coming up next week on Thursday, May 14th (then join us on Fountain Square at 11:30 a.m. on the 14th for a celebration!) Volunteers from local bicycle organizations will also be on hand from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Findlay Market with information about bicycles and bicycling in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Region. They will also be able to offer advice on the best routes for you. Bicycle parking will be available at 124 W Elder St and at bicycle racks around Findlay Market.
In case you missed it, we kicked off Bike Month on Friday, May 1st, with a rolling press event that was seen by an estimated 183,000 viewers in the Tri-State on local TV news stations.
