Bike to Work Week: Monday May 11 to Friday May 15

Make our air a little cleaner by travelling on two wheels during Bike to Work Week!

Thursday, May 14: Cincinnati Bike to Work Day on Fountain Square

7 a.m. - 9.a.m Bicycle commuters stopping at Fountain Square will find free coffee courtesy of La Terza Artisan Coffee and breakfast goodies and ginger cider from Five Star Foodies. We'll keep going until we run out!

11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m Bike to Work Day Celebration at Fountain Square. Music and more at lunchtime on the city's front porch! Ethan Philbrick will perform a musical piece that uses bicycles as instruments. Other musicians will be performing, and bicycle supporters and sponsors will be there with information about bicycling in the region. Shortly after noon, there will be a ceremony proclaiming May 14th as Bike to Work Day in Cincinnati and Hamilton County. Join us by noon to see which local leaders arrive by bike for the ceremony!

All day on Thursday, May 14th Bike and Ride for free on TANK! Fares on Metro will be half-price.

Friday, May 15th: Breakfast on the Bridge, Newport, KY
6 a.m. - 9 a.m.

Bike Newport is hosting a free breakfast for bicycle commuters to close out the week, including Taste of Belgium waffles, apples, bananas, pastries, coffee, milk, and orange juice, at the Newport end of the Purple People Bridge.

Also Friday, May 15th
6:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
Free doughnuts at the Care/Crawley Building Entrance of University Hospital for anyone arriving by bike.

Saturday, May 16th: MoBo Bicycle Co-op 3rd Annual Celebration and Fundraiser
7 p.m. to 1 a.m
Off the Avenue Studios, 1546 Knowlton St., Northside
Cost: $10 members, $12 non-members

A celebration of MoBo’s presence in our community and a rockin’ good time. Music by Chuck and Lisa from Wussy/ Matt Shelton’s Picnic / The Read / DJ Grover. All sorts of food will be provided at our surprise smorgasbord! Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided for a small donation. Over 50 raffle and silent auction items up for grabs! Goldsprints will be there, too, so get ready to race!
