UC Launches Bearcat Bike Share Program April 22

The University of Cincinnati is officially rolling out the Bearcat Bike Share program this Thursday, April 22 at 12:00 pm with a bike parade from University Pavilion to the Campus Recreation Center.

The Bearcat Bike Share is a program where students, faculty and staff at UC will be able to check out bikes at no cost. The program will start at three locations with an initial fleet of 30 bikes: Campus Recreation Center, University Hall and University Pavilion. It is the first part of the larger UC Bike Plan which will encourage bicycling at UC through investment in infrastructure, encouragement and education.

Queen City Bike has been invited to participate in the kick-off parade. If you would like to ride in the parade, meet at University Pavilion around 11:30am to line up. Decorating your bicycle is encouraged but not required. We will also be staffing a table at UC Earth Day events that same day from 11:00am – 2:00pm.
